01 / The artist

Captivated
at twenty.

Tzigane was twenty and newly working for herself when she rented a studio across from a stylist who specialized in extensions. The transformations that stylist created captivated her. She began offering extensions to her own guests, at no charge, while she learned.

She soon realized that doing it well meant real education. The curiosity became a commitment. Today she is certified with Cinderella, Bellami, Hot Heads and Amplify, and she builds every transformation without compromising the integrity of the hair underneath. In 2026 Influence.Vegas told her story under the title The Art of Evolution.

  • Las Vegas Weekly’s Best Salon Readers named Layla A Social Salon Best Salon in 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2026. The Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas added a Bronze in 2024.
  • Twice a Hair Wars winner A first place at Hair Wars, with that work featured in NAILS Magazine, and second place at the 2012 Supreme Salon Tour.
  • Paul Mitchell, then R+Co More than ten years as a Paul Mitchell National Educator. Today she is a Regional Educator for R+Co and R+Co Bleu, and an R+COLOR Educator.
  • Top 100 Women in Las Vegas Named to the list from 2018 to 2026, with segments on Channel 8 News Now and FOX5, and features in Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas NiteLife and Influence.Vegas.

Stage and screen

From the chair
to the billboards.

“Seen, confident +
a little transformed.
Great hair should absolutely make you feel beautiful, but the experience should go deeper. You should leave feeling heard, cared for + like the best version of yourself just walked out the door.”

03 / The approach

A place for
everything.

The first salon Tzigane worked for ran like a Michelin-star kitchen. Its owner taught her policy, procedure and precision: everything had a place, and everything had a purpose.

She runs Layla the same way. The standard reaches from the salon itself down to something as small as a clean, precise parting. In her words, the details protect the guest experience and the integrity of the hair.

04 / The methods

Six methods.
Four certifications.

More than ten years in extensions, certified with Cinderella, Bellami, Hot Heads and Amplify. Below are four of the six methods she offers.

She also installs machine wefts, and fits clip-ins and halos for the days you want length without the commitment.

K-tips & bonds

A row of keratin-tipped strands bonded at the roots

Individual strands bonded to your hair. There's no row to hide, so ponytails and updos are easy. Plan on most of a day in the chair.

Best for
Updos, flexibility
Wear
3–4 months
02

Tape-ins

Tape-in wefts sandwiching a section of hair

Pre-taped wefts sandwiched around your own hair. Fastest to apply and usually the cheapest way in. They show more in very fine hair and need re-taping regularly.

Best for
Medium hair, first-timers
Move-up
Every 6–8 weeks
03

Hand-tied wefts

A hand-tied weft sewn onto a bead row

A weft sewn onto a row of beads across the head. The most hair added in the fewest hours, and the flattest against the scalp. Needs enough of your own density to hide the row.

Best for
Volume, thick hair
Move-up
Every 6–8 weeks
04

I-tips & microlinks

Small beads securing individual strands at the root

Individual strands secured with a small bead, with no heat and no glue. Easy to adjust as your hair grows, and gentle to take out.

Best for
No-heat installs, easy adjustments
